the beautiful singapore flyer at marina baythe day and nite view -`
the greek threatre beside the flyer * quite nice place to hang out
I suggested to go to the singapore flyer to take a look as we knoe it's opened.
I thought we got to cross the river or wat to get over to kallang, but it's juz up ahead of esplanade, easily accessible.
though it's not the grand opening yet, still can see tourists trying on a ride.
the security check is kinda strict, got to go through the bag check and metal detector.
we didnt catch a ride, thinking of going on some other special day *sweets
I also get him to take pictures with me, though he was kinda of unwilling, we still manage to get some shots. =p
I find him look funny and cute in this pose, and... I got it snapped!
of coz he asked me do the same thing -
it was a pretty relaxing day though we felt so tired due to not enough slp.
I always like the 2 of us hangout *

went to singapore airshow last sat with dear and his ns fren.
didnt have enough slp before going to the airshow. end up was pretty late when we reached pasir ris interchange.
what's surprising is that we didnt expect the crowd to be so overwhelming.
everyone is queuing up for the free shuttle service to the changi exhibition centre at the interchange. crowd is everywhere that you almost couldn't have anywhere to walk.
we had no choice but to take cab over to the place itself. but who knoe the taxi queue is equalling scary.
so end up his fren got on a cab from his place at tampanies and came to downtown east to fetch us. (coz we really can't find a suitable pick up point at the interchange)
BUT we end up still couldn't reach on time to catch the air show. it started at 12.15pm and we were all caught in the jam along loyang rd towards changi village. usually this rd is veri quiet, hardly any vehicles one.
anyway by the time we almost reach the centre it was already 12.45pm. cab fare was 20 bucks. omg could u imagine that. we alight at the rd side where there's a big space where we can catch the remaining air show.
according to my bear, I only missed the Black Knights' show. I still manage to see the korean jet, airbus-a380 and royal australian flying team.
unlike my bear, get to see the show almost everyday.
it was a super bazzling hot day coz I got sunburn at the end of the day.
couldn't imagine how bad is it without sunblock, without cap/umbrealla, without sunglasses, I find it quite hard to snap pictures and being snapped coz I can't really see clearly.
still manage to snap some pictures of the planes, trucks, rover, etc..
u also cannot imagine how MANY ppl are there at the exhibition, crowd everywhere, queue into the centre, then queue for the security check.
I see handsome pilots, regardless is our singaopore pilots or ang moh pilots. haha
but one thing true, ang moh pilots are taller.
only the outdoors attracts me. the indoors are on exhibition of stuffs like planes' motor, engines, system, gears, etc.
the food and drinks sold were indeed veri expensive, a small bottle of perrier water cost $4!!! normal can drinks cost $2!!! -.-'''
anyway Im totally exhausted after touring ard and I was supposed to have lessons after that. so end up I skipped my class and headed home to rest.
the queue for transport out from the place was super damn scary. coz the whole exhibition ends at 5pm. and everyone were leaving at that time, same for us.
but I can see some efficiency from the management and police, we manage to get on the shuttle bus within 15 mins of queuing. though there's many ppl but the queue is not messy and are in order.

3rd valentine day with my dear bear.
this year we didnt just celebrate alone, we met up with bei and weiyi for dinner.
we went for movie, Jumper at vivo in the afternoon before the dinner.
hmm jumper was quite a short movie. wasn't as exciting as I thought.
we watched cj*7 the other day, the movie wasn't as great as we thought also.
hmm recently the movie ratings are dropping.
anyway queue at marche for abt half an hr before we get our seats coz we have 4 ppl, as couple get the seat faster.

the ambience was quite ok. there were nice tables and chairs that we didnt get a chance to seat on. like those below.
and our seats are being reserved!
my favourite dish at the restaurant - rosti!
we shared almost all our food with each other. it's pretty gd as we can food taste other food rather than having too much.
overall the bill isn't as much as we thought. coz if u wan to dine on vday, some restaurants will have to reserve seats and the course dinner they serve is so expensive!
we enjoyed our dinner then it came yy who came to meet us after his valentine too.
we headed to k-box at cine and sing till 4am. wahaha it was pretty fun.

and my dear bear who do not knoe how to keep secret, almost spoiled his surprise to me.
haha. that's his gift to me. sweet sweet cake and macaroon.
Im filled with all the sweetness in the air. *smilez*
he specially got this delivered to my house - haha actually I knoe he is doing that coz he asked me what's my block no. how silly!
it's no longer a surprise then, but Im still happy!!! *muacks bear bear!

my gift to him was nothing special this time. just got him a Levis t-shirt.
other intended items I want to get for him were way over my budget.
overspent this 2 months due to festive period.
and didnt I mentioned I bought him a electronic shaver during xmas as an advanced anniversary gift for me.
coz he kept complaining that he need a new shaver and many times he was looking at those electronic shavers while we were shopping.
so I decided to buy him one which spent me almost to about 200 bucks.
though Im broke but Im happy as he like the present. =)

4th day cny we went to yoke han's house to bai nian.
that was my first time there after so long.
she has a dog in the house and Im so afriad of it. though the dog is very tamed.
YH is so gd, giving us 2 hong bao after shi hui itchy hands went to distribute the left over hong bao YH left on the table to us.
afterwhich we ordered pizza and while waiting we played blackjack all the way.
I didnt have much luck this yr I suppose. overall nv win. mostly lost to PS when he was banker, only won when DS was banker. kathy is too lucky as she won the most.
I guess the luck for me is not too overwhelming yet.
played till abt 11pm then we left and went to JE for prata.
send SH home after that waited for my dad to fetch me and PS home.

met up with my cs colleagues for ktv at csc club. super far for me.
hmm I still prefer k box coz it's convenient and Im satisfied with the sound system and the delication of songs system.
I simply dun like csc club partly becoz the sound system kinda sux as I can't my singing. ppl talking louder than those who sing. kinda spoil mood.
anyway still got to catch up with them. it's always fun hanging out with them.
